Company mission

To reduce the impacts of global warming and improve business performance, by enabling businesses to remove at least 10 million tonnes CO2e from the atmosphere by 2030

Our take

xtonnes offers businesses an all-in-one carbon management software that has been built with designers and manufacturers with the mission to reduce, report and remove emissions.

The market has long focused on how companies can offset impact, but xtonnes recognises that it's even more important to reduce. Using insights to figure out how companies are contributing emissions, the software informs them how to make reductions. It exists currently in its early stages, but is forecasted to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 10 million tonnes of CO2, making an opportune entrance into the market given its ambitious and urgent mission.

The start-up has already won two impressive contracts - a FTSE client, and the London Bridge zero-net strategy. Investment from Carbon13 - xtonnes being just one of 10 ventures from the first ever cohort - will be invested in building extra features and functionality with and for designers and manufacturing businesses.
