Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a creative customer-focused marketer who thrives in an ambiguous environment with a high level of ownership and collaboration
- 5+ years of proven experience in customer marketing, particularly at early-stage high-growth companies
- Proven experience in establishing alignment of campaign strategies with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Expertise in crafting and amplifying customer narratives, including case studies and success stories
- Proficiency in measuring and refining campaign performance using metrics, ROI analysis, and customer feedback
- Expertise in building advocacy programs to drive adoption, loyalty, and customer referrals
- Comfortable building from 0-1 in ambiguity
- Proven track record of proactively identifying creative opportunities for the business and our customers
- Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting demands while leading multiple simultaneous P0 projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrating credibility and influence with colleagues at all company levels
- Located in San Francisco, willing to come into the office 3x/week in a hybrid capacity
What the job involves
- Customer Marketing is a pivotal new position for the Marketing team
- In this foundational role, you will help shape the framework for successful customer marketing outreach and the future of the function as a whole
- This individual will be responsible for collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders and driving engagement through customer campaigns, fostering a vibrant user community, and cultivating and mobilizing customer advocates
- Develop and execute value-driven customer campaigns to deepen engagement and loyalty, including segmented email strategies, newsletters, and case studies
- Expand customer communications with updates on product features, usage tips, and success stories tailored to diverse user needs
- Foster a thriving user community through virtual and in-person group sessions, encouraging collaboration and sharing of best practices
- Partner with Product Marketing to establish feedback loops, aligning customer insights with product management and roadmap planning
- Launch and manage a customer advocacy program, driving referrals, testimonials, and case studies with exclusive events and incentives
- Create peer-to-peer forums to support collaboration among new and experienced users, scaling toward a national customer conference
Our take
With the digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. Funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
