Role
Who you are
- You have 3–5 years in a technical client-facing role (Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Implementation Engineering), ideally in SaaS, MarTech, or AdTech, and you're comfortable running live demos and handling technical questions in real time
- You have strong experience building with AI, APIs, and MCP servers and can advise on implementations. You build reusable prompts, skills, artifacts, workflows, and automations, and use AI in your daily work
- You hold it to a standard: you verify its output, measure where it saves time or improves quality, and share what you learn so the whole team gets better, faster, and more consistent
- You can explain a complex integration to a non-technical marketing manager, then hop on a call with a lead engineer to debug an API or integration issue
- You build repeatable solutions with code to get things done: Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript are the core (experience with Go, Java, or C# is a plus)
- You have hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, agentic AI tools, webhooks, and marketing pixels. You understand how data moves between CRM, CDP, and marketing automation systems (e.g., HubSpot, Braze) and how to leverage AI in the loop
- You understand data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and essential security concepts (e.g. encryption, multi-tenant environments) and have worked with security questionnaires or compliance reviews
- You have experience with SAML/SSO and identity resolution concepts (persistent IDs, Snowflake data sharing, and data-activation platforms)
- You don't just identify problems; you build the bridge to the solution. You thrive in the gray area of a fast-growing startup, with a high-autonomy, high-ownership mentality and a ruthless focus on customer outcomes
What the job involves
- As a Solutions Engineer (SE), you are the technical backbone of our enterprise business. You will partner with our largest clients (think Fortune 500 retailers, global media networks, and sports leagues) and with our Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to turn high-level business goals into working technical implementations
- You'll be in the room before the deal closes, scoping and demoing what's possible, and you'll be there after it closes, activating them for success
- You’ll join a high-trust SE team where the work is varied, the scope is wide, and you'll take on real ownership early
- Serve as the technical lead on pre-sales deals: join discovery and customer calls, answer technical and product questions, build custom demos with realistic data, and scope integrations and strategic opportunities with Product and Strategy before close
- Complete vendor security and privacy questionnaires, SSO questionnaires, and RFPs; coordinate with Engineering and Security on supporting artifacts
- Lead technical onboarding for enterprise clients, integrating Flowcode into their marketing and data stacks (CRMs, CDPs, ESPs, Snowflake, and analytics tools), and set up and support enterprise SAML SSO, gathering requirements, partnering with Data Engineering, and answering ongoing questions as customers activate
- Act as the trusted advisor on technical API and MCP server implementations, supporting clients on high-volume and bulk API use cases and writing solutions scripts and code (Python, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, or similar) to adjust configurations, update events, and solve one-off customer problems
- Support marketing pixel and event-tracking implementations: run intake, install and configure pixels (including Shopify, tag managers, and server-to-server setups), validate conversion events, and debug
- Execute migrations from our self-service product and our clients to our latest Enterprise platform; building and enhancing reusable tooling
- Build modular, custom templates, and apps (such as digital business cards, wallet passes, and landing-page experiences) for client launches, scale them across the product, and deliver custom experiences with technical partners
- Triage and answer internal and client-facing technical questions. Create the playbooks and technical documentation that let us and our clients scale together
- Act as the technical connective tissue between clients, Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering: translate customer requirements into clear technical asks, and translate engineering constraints back into plain language for customers and account teams
- Bring the voice of the customer into the roadmap by spotting patterns across implementations (recurring integration requests, API gaps, documentation holes, workarounds you keep rebuilding), documenting them with real examples, and partnering with Product and Engineering to turn them into product improvements
Application process
- Send us your LinkedIn and a brief note on the most complex technical implementation you’ve ever led. Bonus points if you include a link to a Flowcode you created
Our take
QR codes, which have been widely used in many Asian countries for years, have more recently catapulted into the day-to-day lives of consumers globally. New York-based Flowcode has been swift to capitalise on this hugely lucrative space in the US market, with a reimagined take that offers more attractive, brand-customised options.
The usefulness of QR codes across a huge spread of sectors means they are unlikely to make an exit anytime soon, and Flowcode has carved a strong reputation for itself as consumers begin to demand a higher quality QR experience. The company works with corporate brands, restaurants, small businesses, and celebrities, including the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Bentley Motors, GoDaddy, and Warner Media.
Recently, the company has introduced an upgraded platform, highlighting its commitment to innovation with new features like real-time analytics, geo-location data, and cross-screen attributes. Setting a new standard for QR code technology, enabling brands ot gain deeper insights and refine their marketing strategies.
