Role
Who you are
- Personal track record closing B2B SaaS mid-market and enterprise deals, with lived experience of discovery, demos, objection handling, and pricing
- Direct experience diagnosing and improving customer retention, with a specific example of what changed and the impact it had
- Has built a commercial team from near-scratch, including the rituals, playbooks, and scorecards installed, and the results they drove
- UK property sector sales literacy: sold into UK property professionals, land teams, planners, property developers, or a closely adjacent regulated, process-driven buyer group
- Experience scaling or repositioning an existing commercial function
- Understanding of UK SMB and mid-market buying motions, not purely enterprise-led cycles
- Operates with visible urgency and presence in pipeline management and coaching cadence
What the job involves
- Through a strategic pivot to an execution-led, AI-enabled Land Intelligence Platform, that unites the land-to-planning pre-construction process and the collaboration-driven development ecosystem, we aim to redefine how the pre-construction journey evolves in an AI world
- This role leads commercial delivery across New Business and Customer Success, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team
- The mandate is to grow new business at pace while strengthening retention
- You'll lead from the front, coaching deals directly, while building the rituals, playbooks, and scorecards that let the team scale
- This is a hands-on, build-forward role, shifting toward strategic leadership as the function scales
- Lead new-business growth. Own and drive B2B SaaS mid-market and enterprise deal cycles, coaching the sales team directly on discovery, demos, objection handling, and pricing
- Drive retention and expansion. Diagnose and address the drivers of churn, building the processes that keep net revenue retention on an upward trajectory
- Build the commercial engine. Design and embed the rituals, playbooks, and scorecards that let the Sales and CS teams scale and perform consistently
- Set the pace. Bring visible urgency and presence to pipeline management and coaching cadence across the function
- Sales team operating with documented playbooks, weekly rituals, and call review cadence; CS team re-energised with clear ownership
- New business pipeline established at 3x ARR coverage with monthly churn trajectory below 3%
- NRR tracking toward 110%+, with senior sales talent retained and developed

Its core product, LandInsight, uses large datasets to help developers discover and assess potential sites more efficiently, while LandEnhance gives planners streamlined access to planning and policy information in one place.
The property sector has traditionally been slow to modernise, but increasing pressure to deliver new house has pushed demand for faster, more informed decision-making. And LandTech sits in this shift by helping reduce friction in the early stages of development, allowing users to move from site discovery through to planning insight and funding considerations more efficiently.
