Who you are
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills (experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic financial modeling)
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion) is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage
- Lastly, a highly analytical, detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills and a self-motivated mindset will thrive in this role
What the job involves
- The Financial Planning & Analysis intern will have the opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- In this role, you'll work closely with various teams to gather and analyze data, helping ensure our financial strategies support the company's goals
- You’ll also assist in conducting scenario analyses to evaluate potential outcomes and provide insights that guide decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Collect and analyze data to align financial strategies with company goals
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential financial outcomes
- Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide insights
- Prepare financial reports and update dashboards to track company performance
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes
- Contribute to special projects like market research and competitive benchmarking
- Assist in integrating new financial tools, systems, and process improvements

Business transport for frequent travellers can be a difficult process. The pain of booking systems, invoicing, and inconsistent service quality are issues travellers regularly face, hindering business operations and causing unnecessary delays. Alongside this, Chauffeurs also experience empty cars due to non-optimised booking processes.
Blacklane aims at the higher end of the market, targeting corporate workers, executives and those with the means to pay extra for higher levels of service when they travel. Through a booking system available on the company's website and in-app, Blacklane provides a reliable high-end service with inclusive pricing and on-call customer support. Blacklane also works with chauffeurs, filling empty seats to optimise services.
The company was recently acquired by Uber, giving it access to Uber's global scale and technology, putting it in a very good position for future growth. With operations in over 500 cities across 60 countries, Blacklane is in an excellent position to expand its premium chauffeur services.
