Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other sales tools (e.g. Domo, QV, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms)
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
- Solid understanding of sales processes, metrics, and KPIs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Problem-Solving: Proactively addresses challenges and identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Communication: Clear and concise communication of findings and recommendations to stakeholders

What the job involves
- The Sales Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the efficiency of the sales team by providing data-driven insights, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies
- This position involves analyzing sales data, reporting on performance metrics, and working cross-functionally with other departments to improve sales operations and outcomes
- Analyze and interpret sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
- Create and maintain regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for sales leadership and other stakeholders
- Monitor sales pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and forecast accuracy
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance, productivity, and efficiency
- Collaborate with sales operations leadership to evaluate and streamline sales processes, systems, and tools
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and suggest solutions to improve efficiency
- Support the development and implementation of new sales processes and tools to enhance the sales team's effectiveness
- Assist in the creation of accurate sales forecasts, ensuring that key assumptions are tracked and updated as needed
- Provide input into sales account level planning as part of the monthly consensus process
- Track and measure the performance of sales initiatives and campaigns, recommending adjustments when necessary
- Partner with demand planning, finance, strategic sales and strategic operations teams to align sales strategies with broader business goals
- Provide support to the sales team to drive internal alignment and resolution of any operational challenges
- Conduct special projects as requested by sales operations leadership to support business initiatives or strategic decisions
- Provide on-demand analysis and support for any issues or opportunities that arise

Consumer demand for new and better home appliances continues to grow. SharkNinja serves this demand by designing and manufacturing innovative home goods and devices. Specifically, it has a growing line of solutions that consist of Shark cleaning and home care products and Ninja kitchen appliances.
SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.
SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
