What the job involves
- As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for all top of funnel activities that create qualified opportunities for our sales team. You will work across a variety of lead types, including warm inbound prospects and cold outbound outreach
- This is a high-impact role where you’ll join a team of high performers dedicated to building relationships, achieving quotas, and delivering exceptional results
- Conduct market research to identify potential target customers, industries, and market trends
- Contact potential clients through cold-calling and cold-emailing to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and fit for our solutions
- Engage in networking, face-to-face meetings, and other activities to generate and close leads
- Conduct initial discovery calls to educate prospects about our offerings
- Stay up-to-date on trends and news from the industry, competitors, and target market
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, guiding them through the sales funnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM system
