Desirable

• We are engineers with deep experience across the product development cycle, from initial ideas to shipping hardware, across industries and specializations, who became frustrated by the cost and complexity of modern manufacturing. So we decided to upgrade it
• Engineers make million-dollar decisions every day, and they need tools that give them the greatest possible insight into their products
• By offering unprecedented visibility into products, as well as AI-driven tools that highlight problems and generate quantitative data, Lumafield promises to revolutionize the way complex products are created, manufactured, and used across industries. We started with industrial CT scanning, which for us was the most valuable but underutilized tool in the manufacturing toolbox, enabling us to rapidly inspect essential components non-destructively
• We rebuilt the whole system, from X-ray capture, to computer vision analysis, to web-based collaboration, to the entire business model, making the most advanced manufacturing tech more accessible to every industry. Our company, like our platform, is designed for upgrades. We’re building for greater intelligence, autonomy, and speed. For deeper vision, operational excellence, and powerful insights. And then we'll upgrade it all again
• We are looking for a motivated IT Specialist to support Lumafield’s day-to day IT operations and help build reliable, scalable systems for our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll be responsible for ensuring employees have the devices, tools, access, and IT support they need to do their best work
• You’ll support employees across our offices, manage company devices and core IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the processes we use to provision and manage our IT environment. You’ll also work closely with Engineering and other teams on networking, infrastructure, security, and compliance needs as they arise
• This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping teammates, and making systems work better. You’ll balance responsive day-to-day support with longer term projects to automate manual work, improve reliability, and scale our IT operations as the company grows
• Provide day-to-day IT support for employees across all Lumafield offices, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and workplace technology issues for both technical and non-technical users
• Manage the complete lifecycle of company devices, including procurement, provisioning, MDM enrollment, software deployment, inventory management, lifecycle replacement, and secure retirement
• Administer core IT and business systems including Google Workspace, Rippling, MDM platforms, and other SaaS applications
• Manage user identities, access requests, permissions, and lifecycle processes to ensure employees have secure, appropriate access to the tools they need
• Help maintain endpoint security, patch management, and security tooling, including platforms such as SentinelOne and Vanta
• Support compliance initiatives across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ITAR by implementing technical controls, maintaining documentation, and collecting audit evidence
• Work across the full lifecycle of an enterprise server rack, from network management and switch configuration to building and deploying physical servers
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AV and conference room tech, including Neat devices and other presentation equipment
• Continuously improve IT systems and processes by identifying opportunities to automate manual work, improve reliability, and enhance the employee experience
