- Currently studying a Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related technical/creative field
- Possibility to sign an internship agreement with your educational institution
- A strong foundational understanding of or passionate interest in digital marketing and B2B growth strategies
- Familiarity with basic copywriting principles and an eye for engaging campaign messaging
- Analytical mindset with a comfort for looking at data and basic campaign metrics

What the job involves
- As a Digital Marketing Intern at Freightos, you’ll help design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive demand and visibility for our global platform
- You’ll work closely with our marketing and growth teams to turn creative strategies into high-performing campaigns, directly impacting how we engage with thousands of freight companies worldwide
- This is a hands-on role where you will learn the ins and outs of B2B demand generation, email marketing strategy, and competitive landscape analysis
- Demand Generation: Support the creation, execution, and reporting of multi-channel marketing campaigns. Help define target audiences, map out campaign flows, and assist with copywriting
- Campaign Marketing: Assist in building and deploying email campaigns, managing audience lists, setting up A/B tests, and monitoring key performance metrics to optimize open and click-through rates
- Data & Reporting: Help track and analyze campaign performance data to understand what works and where we can improve
- Market Research & Insights: Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify how other industry players promote their products, tracking best practices and fresh marketing trends
- Collaboration: Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions, team reviews, and cross-functional projects
Our take
Whilst purchasing a plane ticket online is an easy transaction, booking freight shipments on that very same plane remains a time-consuming, complex task. To remedy this, Spanish-founded WebCargo (which is owned by Freightos) offers a platform with various cargo booking solutions.
Currently deployed by upwards of 10,000 forwarders, the platform supports the pricing and booking of cargo across over 40 airlines. WebCargo continues to bolster its offering, for example with its launch of a feature which enables digital interlining (where one airline sells services to a customer that are provided by another airline).
It is clear that WebCargo is committed to enhancing the value it brings to its clients, that include Panalpina, Hellmann and IAG Cargo. Recently, the company secured a partnership with Wideroe, the largest Nordic airline, and has also collaborated with Chapman Freeborn, a leading aircraft charter company, to bring additional global capacity from their global charter business to its platform.
