Who you are
- Demonstrated ability in B2B marketing, with experience in Account-Based Marketing, Field Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, or Demand Generation
- Experience developing and delivering marketing programs across the Americas region, with a strong understanding of enterprise buying behaviors and regional market dynamics
- Proven track record creating creative account engagement programs that help advance enterprise opportunities through the sales cycle
- Experience partnering closely with regional Sales, BDR, and Customer Success teams to execute coordinated account strategies
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying groups and how to engage technical, business, and executive customers
- Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, events, outbound, and executive engagement programs
- Familiarity with marketing technologies such as Demandbase, Qualified, Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, and web personalization tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders across geographies, business units, and time zones
- Data-driven mindset, using campaign and account insights to optimize performance and improve account progression
- Experience supporting both mature and growth markets, balancing scale in North America with targeted regional approaches in Latin America
- Curious about AI and emerging marketing technologies, with an interest in applying them to improve personalization, account research, and campaign execution
What the job involves
- As the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager for the Americas, you will play a key role in bringing Mendix's global ABM strategy to life across North America and Latin America
- You'll partner closely with regional Sales, BDR, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to execute high-impact 1:1 and 1:few ABM programs that reflect the outstanding dynamics of the Americas region and accelerate account progression
- While aligned to a global ABM strategy, you will be responsible for regional execution, adapting messaging, campaigns, events, and experiences to meet local market needs while maintaining global consistency

- Execute Mendix's global 1:1 and 1:few ABM strategy across the Americas region, adapting programs to regional priorities, customer needs, and market dynamics. Serve as the voice of the Americas region within the global organization, providing market insights, identifying regional opportunities, and helping evolve global programs based on customer and sales feedback
- Develop innovative account-based campaigns and experiences that help progress strategic opportunities through the sales cycle, including executive engagement, workshops, direct mail, field experiences, customer events, and digital programs
- Work closely with Sales and BDR teams to identify priority accounts, develop account engagement strategies, and align marketing programs with outbound sales motions that drive meetings, pipeline, and opportunity progression
- Partner with global ABM, Product Marketing, Digital, and Content teams to localize campaigns, messaging, and content for North American and Latin American markets while ensuring consistency with global strategy
- Coordinate multi-channel ABM programs across digital, outbound, events, paid media, web personalization, and executive engagement to reach technical, business, and executive stakeholders across the buying group
- Work with platforms such as Demandbase, Qualified, CRM, and marketing automation tools to implement personalized campaigns and measure account engagement. Provide input on Americas-specific technology, data, and process requirements to ensure regional success in ABM execution
- Monitor account engagement, meetings, pipeline progression, and campaign performance. Use data, sales feedback, and regional insights to continuously improve programs and enhance business impact
Our take
Mendix’s low-code software helps companies build their own custom software applications more quickly and efficiently.
It was founded in 2005 and didn't get much traction, only raising its first round of funding in 2011. Since then, the amount of software being built has exploded, giving Mendix a market to grow into.
Research company Gartner predicts low-code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity by 2024.
Siemens, one of the largest industrial companies, acquired Mendix in August 2018. Since then, Mendix has been developing new low-code applications, such as connectors for Amazon Web Services, staying in line with the increased interest in low-code tech.
