Role
Who you are
- Extensive experience in product design, encompassing UX, UI and research in modern e-commerce and growth businesses across multiple geographies
- Strong Figma skills, including prototyping and managing complex design systems
- Commercial acumen to be able to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to develop data-driven customer strategies and tactics
- Empathy for users and ability to turn concepts and user problems into tangible, testable solutions
- High attention to detail and an ability to plan, juggle and execute against multiple deadlines while remaining flexible in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities
- One team mindset with the ability to develop, high quality, trust-based working relationships and guide stakeholders to achieve the best results for the business
- Front end development knowledge and experience is a plus
- The ability to commute to our offices in Hammersmith at least 3 days a week

What the job involves
- We have a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy digital product designer to join our growing product team working on both mobile and web product opportunities
- Joining a small design team you’ll need to be proactive, hands on and have a commercially-minded approach with an emphasis on driving engagement
- Shape the future of our entire product offering for our B2C and B2B platforms through cutting edge product design
- Work on a range of growth ideas and opportunities to iterate and develop the product across mobile, tablet and desktop interfaces available to AnyVan’s various user-types and audiences
- Run research programs to dig through our wealth of data and speak directly to our users to answer tough question that will guide our feature releases and strategic direction
- Design easy-to-use, highly functional UIX workflows and solutions - This could include visualising business process into simple and easy to understand flows, creating low effort mockups that can be used to get early validation of the design, engaging landing pages that drive conversion, applications to engage with our audience, etc
- Collaborate closely with our exec and product teams as well as stakeholders from across the business to identify new opportunities and design experiments that meet business and user needs
- Work alongside our In-house engineering teams to define front-end strategy and push out high quality interfaces that engage, convert and keep our users sticky
- Advocate internally for UX and contribute to enhancing business maturity in product and design best practices
- Build solid trust based relationships internally and externally to deliver assets that support business objectives

AnyVan offers delivery solutions for consumers, businesses and retailers, facilitating both on-demand and advanced bookings. Since launch, AnyVan has focussed predominantly on the consumer market utilising technology to shake up the traditional logistics model.
Driver tracking, two-hour collection & delivery time slots and evolving from reverse auction models to instant pricing has helped growth. As the property market boomed in the previous few years with people wanting to move homes and an increased demand for freight and retailers to deliver for their customers, the company has seen consistent growth.
