Role
Who you are
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in SaaS and/or branding agencies, delivering high-quality design for marketing
- Portfolio: A diverse and impactful portfolio showcasing your expertise in marketing design—especially in typography, fonts, motion design, web design for landing pages, and illustration
- Design skills: Expertise in design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design, with a solid understanding of motion graphics
- Tools & software: Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Figma; video editing and animation skills are a plus
- Data-driven mindset: Ability to interpret KPIs and metrics, ensuring designs contribute to measurable success
- Soft skills: A proactive communicator and collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally, taking initiative, and solving problems creatively

What the job involves
- As a Visual Designer, working in Kittl’s Marketing team, you will design exceptionally engaging graphics to help Kittl to communicate a consistent and on-brand message to the design world, in both graphic and motion design
- You'll use your creative flair and mastery to design a wide array of branding and marketing materials (2D, Motion) for both print and digital that resonate with Kittl’s rapidly growing audiences
- This is your opportunity to be one of the early-stage graphic designers who change the entire landscape of graphic design with a future unicorn!
- Create engaging visuals: Work with product and social media teams (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) to develop graphics for feature launches, landing pages, and in-app content
- Craft impactful designs: Design both motion and static graphics that effectively showcase Kittl’s product value propositions
- Deliver high-quality designs: Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines, maintaining quality and consistency while meeting deadlines
- Leverage data for design: Partner with data analysts to interpret user insights and translate them into actionable design improvements
- Collaborate for consistency: Work closely with product and growth teams to implement innovative designs while ensuring consistency in messaging across all platforms

Our take
In order to meet their branding and marketing needs, businesses can either hire graphic designers at a cost to their budget or rely upon free templates they can edit to their uses. However, whilst these templates have allowed many lower-budget businesses to create a digital image, it has also made it difficult for them to appear unique online. Kittl supplies a design platform for companies to create effective and individual graphics online, easily, and without the need for design expertise.
Kittl was founded in 2020 to combat the “cookie cutter” digital image landscape brought about by the rise in templates. Its platform allows clients to make detailed and unique logos without design training; with tools including text shading and text decoration, libraries of images and ornaments, and much more. On top of this, the company provides tutorials and inspiration for customers to make the most of what it provides.
Early Kittl clients include the likes of Warner Bros, Netflix, and German publisher Hubert Burda Media. The company has secured significant funding, the latest of which is cited to help grow its team and develop better tools for its users to unlock their creativity, as it further establishes itself and attracts new customers.
