Who you are

8+ years of experience, ideally at an agency or market research company, in senior client-facing roles
Experience building trusted relationships with executive marketing leaders, including CMOs and other senior budget holders, and translating complex research into clear, strategic guidance
Proven experience leading commercial conversations and negotiating rates, contracts, and service agreements
Significant experience developing and winning pitches and leading complex projects at enterprise clients
Comfortable operating in the grey, with a willingness to wear multiple hats and cut through ambiguity in whatever way helps achieve the necessary outcomes

What the job involves

Swayable is looking for a high-performing Director for our emerging Account Management team to lead relationship development, retention, growth, and expansion for our existing roster of clients
In this role, you will partner with Sales, Client Success, and Revenue Operations to help uncover opportunities and marshal the right resources to meet them
Build strong relationships with our enterprise and strategic clients, including in person, ensuring the profitability and growth of existing client accounts
Identify and develop ways to support your clients by bringing the best of Swayable's products and pushing our product development as needed
Help win pitches by demonstrating how to solve the client’s problems with your brand background and Swayable’s platform
Ensure client satisfaction, added value, and continued usage
Maintain a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting accounts, and developments in the wider marketing and advertising industry
Collaborate closely with the sales team on expansion opportunities within your client portfolio
Negotiate contracts and fees with marketing and consumer insight stakeholders

Our take

Campaigning, whether for a brand, a charitable cause, or a political office, is getting harder by the year. Siloed demographics, patchy data, and bad market research means many messages aren’t getting through - something that Swayable is looking to change.

The company essentially runs randomized A/B testing on campaign videos to see which is the most persuasive for their clients. Swayable pulls demographic audiences from sites like Facebook, Amazon Mechanical Turk, and Fiverr, and returns analysed performance results to its customers within 12-24 hours.

This kind of rapid-turnaround market insight is crucial for organizatinos looking to fine-tune their messaging. It won the company itself good business, too - Swayable began with Y-Combinator, and has gone on to score a remarkable slate of clients including the Biden Harris campaign, Amazon, Airbnb, and Paramount.
