Who you are
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production software

What the job involves
- At Camber, we build reliable, high-quality software that solves meaningful problems and powers critical workflows. As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute across our stack, take ownership of meaningful features, and grow your craft in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You'll work closely with senior engineers and product teammates to deliver impactful work from day one
- Build and ship features end-to-end — from scoping and design through implementation, testing, and deployment
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that your teammates will love to work with
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and clinician-facing teams to understand problems and deliver great solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and help raise the bar for quality across the team
- Uphold security requirements and maintain compliance with HIPAA security regulations
Our take
Mental Health plays a significant role in many people's lives, and the need for accessible help avenues is growing. To cater to this, Behavioural Health Clinics need better operational systems, which is where Camber comes in.
Camber's platform offers automated billing for insurance reimbursement, built specifically for therapy clinics. This bolsters clinicians' capacity to cater to a larger patient base, and can help consumers to save money.
Camber is aligned with a broader trend in healthcare, where organizations are moving towards automation and efficiency enhancement. Its efforts have brought on extensive funding led by the likes of Y Combinator, with which the company will expand its service offerings.
