Who you are
- You have at least 3 years of working experience in an administrative, operational or coordination role, ideally in tax, accounting, finance, professional services or a comparable environment
- You are highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple parallel tasks and deadlines
- You pay strong attention to detail and care about complete and accurate documentation
- You take ownership of open topics and proactively follow up with the relevant stakeholders
- You are comfortable working with modern digital tools and quickly learn new systems
- Experience with DATEV, Asana, Slack or similar workflow and collaboration tools is a plus
- You are curious about automation and AI and interested in using technology to improve everyday workflows
- You enjoy working across teams and communicating with different internal and external stakeholders
- You are pragmatic, hands-on and interested in improving how processes are organised
- You are fluent in German and English
What the job involves
- As a Tax & Accounting Operations Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Tax & Accounting teams and help ensure that our processes run reliably and efficiently
- Coordinate recurring tax and accounting workflows, keeping track of deadlines, tasks and open items
- Maintain client, engagement and process data across our operational systems
- Manage incoming correspondence and documentation, including communication with tax authorities and external advisers
- Collect, organise and prepare documents and information required for accounting, financial statements, tax returns, audits and other recurring processes, both for service delivery to our clients as well as for internal compliance
- Support client onboarding and migrations, including data migration and operational system setup, as well as contract creation and client invoicing support
- Maintain clear documentation, checklists and status overviews to support quality and timely delivery of client services
- Work with tools such as DATEV, Asana, Slack and other internal systems to keep workflows structured and transparent
- Support statutory and administrative processes such as filings, publications and deadline tracking, both for service delivery to our clients as well as for internal compliance
- Work closely with Tax, Accounting and other internal teams as well as external advisers
- Help continuously improve and standardise processes, tools and documentation
- Explore how automation and AI can make recurring operational work more efficient and scalable
Our take
Berlin-based Bunch is an operating system (OS) for investors to syndicate deals across private markets. Both founders’ previous experiences in fintech made them uniquely aware of the barriers preventing access to private markets and how to knock them down.
The private market investment has boomed in recent years, with around $10 trillion in assets under management. Considering the growing state of the market, coupled with the company's current work to refine its platform, Bunch can expect to see greater demand and further uptake of its services. Bunch is attractive to customers due to how easy it makes participation in private markets.
Since its founding in 2021, Bunch has attracted over 500 investors to its platform and now administers around €150 million in assets. Following 2024 funding, the company is focused on growing its user base and product capabilities.
