What the job involves
- As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be a key member of the team carrying Dashlane's mission: to deliver the credential security every business and employee needs to thrive
- Compromised credentials remain the leading cause of breaches, and Dashlane is moving up-market fast, from password manager to the credential security layer for the modern enterprise
- You will drive that expansion by building a proactive, outbound-driven motion that reduces our reliance on inbound leads
- You will own complex enterprise deals end to end, from self-sourced first contact through multi-stakeholder consensus to close, while instilling urgency that shortens sales cycles
- You will work alongside SDRs, channel partners, solutions engineers, and fellow account executives to capture pipeline across all four revenue streams: inbound, outbound, channel, and SDR
- As a trusted voice on our product and the broader cybersecurity stack, you will earn credibility with CISOs and IT leaders and help shape how the sales team wins in the enterprise
- This role is based in New York, with travel to industry and channel events
- Generate at least 40% of your pipeline through self-directed outbound prospecting of enterprise decision-makers
- Map complex buying organizations, multi-thread across stakeholders, and build consensus to move deals forward
- Create urgency that shortens enterprise sales cycles
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, clear opportunity staging, and accurate, predictable forecasts
- Build productive relationships with channel partners to expand deal reach and velocity
- Partner with SDRs and internal teams to capture pipeline across inbound, outbound, channel, and SDR streams
- Master Dashlane's value proposition and the enterprise cybersecurity stack, with a focus on credential management
- Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborative resource for the wider sales team
- Represent Dashlane at industry and channel events
Our take
The logins to our online accounts are constantly at risk of being hacked. For both individuals and businesses, cyberattacks are an invasion of privacy that can have both financial implications and cause damage to reputations. Creating more unique and secure passwords can then become harder to remember and more complicated to enter.
Dashlane is a web and mobile app that simplifies password management for people and businesses. It makes the internet easier by auto filling passwords, payments, and personal information. With 15+ million users from over 25,000 businesses across 200 countries currently using its software, the company continuously scans over 20 billion hack/breach records each day.
The company faces stiff competition from the likes of LastPass, 1Password, and Bitwarden. To stay price competitive in the market, Dashlane launched a reduced plan with the essential features and in 2023, launched the Dashlane Confidential SSO (Single Sign-On), further differentiating itself from its competitors. They also have innovative tools and a user-friendly interface which will help it stand out from the crowd.
