What the job involves
- Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Manager of Marketing Planning & Delivery to support their banking partner, a large Canadian national bank
- This role will help drive marketing campaigns from planning through delivery, coordinating creative development, stakeholders, approvals, and overall project execution within a complex, highly regulated environment
- Drive end-to-end marketing campaign delivery from planning and briefing through creative development, review, approval, and execution
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and approval workflows across multiple concurrent campaigns and workstreams
- Coordinate effectively across marketing, product, creative, execution, and analytics teams to keep campaigns moving forward and ensure deliverables are completed on time
- Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop campaign assets and ensure work progresses efficiently through each stage of production
- Brief creative teams and agencies with clear objectives, requirements, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Manage creative review and revision cycles, consolidating feedback and ensuring final deliverables meet campaign objectives and brand standards
- Perform final creative quality assurance prior to execution, with strong attention to detail across messaging, content, formatting, brand alignment, and required approvals
- Build strong relationships across a highly matrixed organization and effectively navigate multiple layers of review and approval
- Coordinate stakeholders across marketing, product, creative, analytics, execution, compliance, and other business functions to maintain alignment throughout the campaign lifecycle
- Proactively identify roadblocks, competing priorities, and potential delays and develop solutions to keep workstreams on track
- Facilitate productive conversations when stakeholder feedback is conflicting, unclear, or potentially impacts campaign objectives or timelines
- Bring confidence and sound judgment to stakeholder discussions, including the ability to constructively challenge feedback when appropriate
- Maintain clear communication around project status, decisions, action items, risks, dependencies, and next steps
- Support the planning and execution of customer engagement marketing programs and campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints
- Collaborate with marketing and customer journey teams to translate business objectives and customer needs into actionable campaign plans
- Coordinate campaign development across multiple workstreams while ensuring alignment to broader marketing priorities

- Help identify opportunities to improve campaign processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency within a complex corporate environment
- Maintain strong project documentation and follow-through to ensure accountability across internal teams and external partners
- Partner with analytics teams to understand campaign performance, customer insights, and opportunities for future marketing activity
- Review dashboards and marketing performance data to understand key trends and insights
- Translate data and analytics findings into actionable recommendations for campaign planning and marketing strategy
- Use customer, campaign, and performance insights to help identify opportunities for new or enhanced marketing campaigns
- This role requires data literacy rather than technical analytics expertise; SQL, Python, data engineering, or software development experience is not required
- Ensure campaign execution follows applicable brand, regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements
- Navigate complex approval processes and ensure appropriate stakeholders review and approve campaign materials before execution
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accountability in a regulated financial services environment
- Support effective day-to-day operations and adherence to applicable business controls and risk management practices
Our take
As large enterprises race to digitize everything from supply chains to customer service, they're drowning in data, but not always insights. So, that's where Blend comes it, helping businesses turn messy, underused data into something genuinely useful, applying advanced analytics and AI to drive smarter decisions rather than just prettier dashboards.
Made up of data scientists and engineers, Blend works behind the scenes to make machine learning actually function in the real world. Fro, from AI integration to data governance and MLOps. Essentially, it helps big companies get more value out of the information they already have, improving efficiency and making data a competitive advantage rather than a compliance headache.
Backed by a 2022 Growth Equity investment, Blend has expanded through smart acquisitions, including FutureproofAI, which broadened its AI capabilities and client reach, and Montevideo Labs, strengthening its footprint in Latin America.
