Company mission
To provide secure and scalable data onboarding solutions that help companies turn every piece of data into value.
Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development with React and TypeScript
- Strong experience building complex, interactive UIs and defining frontend architecture
- Proven ability to build products from scratch (0→1) or work in highly iterative environments
- Strong product mindset — you think about usability, user flows, and real-world usage, not just implementation
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions without perfect specs
- Experience working closely with Product and Design, contributing to better solutions
- Ability to take ownership and drive features from idea to production
- Excellent English communication skills, able to work closely with our Germany-/Thailand-based engineering teams
- Berlin-based (or willing to relocate)
- We understand that certain individuals may hesitate to apply for a job unless they fulfill all the listed requirements. It's important to note that this is a wishlist rather than a strict checklist. We evaluate candidates based on their potential, not just their resumes. If you believe this position aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to submit your application!
Desirable
- Experience with data-heavy or workflow-driven UIs (ETL, pipelines, dashboards, internal tools)
- Familiarity with SDK-based or API-driven products
- Experience with performance optimization and complex state management
- Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned engineering practices
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts (useful when integrating with backend teams)
- Experience in agentic coding workflows, AI-powered development tooling, or advanced dev tooling
What the job involves
- Take a leading role in building the frontend of our new data platform from scratch (0→1), shaping how non-technical users interact with complex data workflows
- Own the frontend architecture and user experience of the platform, making pragmatic decisions that balance speed and long-term scalability
- Build and ship high-quality, production-ready features using React and TypeScript
- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and improve complex user flows for data onboarding and pipeline configuration
- Actively challenge product and design decisions, taking ownership of making the product intuitive and usable
- Define and evolve frontend patterns, component architecture, and state management approaches
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend to turn high-level problems into working solutions
- Drive code quality through hands-on development, code reviews, and pairing
- Spend a significant portion of your time writing production code and building core features yourself
- Guide and support other frontend engineers through hands-on collaboration and technical leadership
Our take
In the landscape of software development, the onboarding of customer data remains a persistent challenge for businesses across various industries. Recognising the time-consuming and resource-intensive nature of manually restructuring messy data received from clients, Ingestro (previously nuvo) has set out to tackle this process.
The company addresses the common pain points of countless reformatting cycles, which not only waste months of time and internal resources but also diverts focus from core product development. Employing AI algorithms, Ingestro automatically handles diverse use cases and transforms external data into valuable assets, enabling businesses to map and transform data into the desired structure and format.
Since its inception, Ingestro has attracted attention and support, with 2023 funding being used to further develop its AI algorithms, solidifying its value. With a robust foundation and a growing client portfolio, Ingestro is poised to play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of data onboarding and could become a leading platform for data movements in the software development realm.
