What the job involves

As Product Manager (m/f/x) you work within our Product Team alongside product managers, designers and researchers at the forefront of technology in the field of mental health. In collaboration with our cross-functional engineering team, psychologists and other teams, you drive the successful delivery of our digital therapeutic solutions
Reports to: Tanja Lembcke (Senior Product Manager)
Lead product discovery efforts to identify market opportunities, user needs, and industry trends in the mental health space
Work closely with the engineering manager to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project completion
Gather and prioritize requirements from diverse teams, including content, research, legal, and coaching, to inform product development
Collaborate with the product designer and product researcher to create detailed and well-defined product requirements
Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company goals and user needs
Conduct user interviews and market research to gain insights and validate product decisions
Work with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric products
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes

Whilst some countries provide some mental health services for free, most specialized psychological support is very expensive, subject to long waiting lists, and inaccessible to many.

HelloBetter provides a platform of online psychological courses, tackling specialized subjects such as work-related stress and burnout, mental health issues as a result of chronic pain, and diabetes-related depression. The courses are curated by world-leading mental help researchers and course developers and are eligible to be prescribed for free on a patient's health insurance.

The internet has long since been used as a platform for psychological courses, but these usually lack an expert-approved framework, and options that do meet professional standards are expensive. By partnering with psychologists, researchers, doctors, and health insurance providers, HelloBetter is standing out with its efforts to make psychological care as accessible as possible. And with a stack of funding under its belt (with the latest coming in 2025), the German company is setting its sight on tackling the French market next.
