Who you are
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of private cloud infrastructure management
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and frameworks
Desirable
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, haproxy, nginx, Hashicorp Nomad, Consul and Vault
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus, though not required
- Previous experience in a SaaS environment
What the job involves
- As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing our private cloud infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our services
- You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, monitor systems, and implement best practices for infrastructure management
- Manage and maintain our private cloud infrastructure in our datacenter
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our services
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Optimize and tune performance of servers, databases, and applications
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and rapid delivery of software
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions
- Ensure security best practices are followed and infrastructure is compliant with relevant standards
- Maintain and manage services such as MySQL, haproxy, nginx, Hashicorp Nomad, Consul and Vault
