Who you are
- We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Account Executive to join our team
- The most successful people in this role have an entrepreneurial mindset, are self-starters, and have experience fully owning their 7-figure sales cycles and know how to close complex enterprise deals
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in similar sales roles achieving and exceeding quota with closing deals with $250k+ ACV
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling to true enterprise accounts
- Proven experience navigating complex procurement, InfoSec reviews, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, etc)
- Strong competency with solution selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDICC, Sandler)
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly in the context of technology-driven solutions
- Financial Literacy and the ability to competently analyze a Bank's 10-K/Annual Report to find strategic insights and areas for opportunity
- Exceptional business writing skills; ability to craft compelling, concise executive summaries and proposals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute account plans
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Ability to travel as needed (e.g., 3-4 times per quarter)
What the job involves
- As the Sr. Account Executive, you will target Super-Regional and large commercial banks. You are expected to operate autonomously, managing complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles
- New Bank Prospecting and Acquisition: Creating a cohesive territory strategy to open new opportunities with your bank targets and signing contracts to acquire a new bank logo
- Opportunity Management: Fully owning the new bank pipeline and management of the pipeline including hygiene, progression, closing, etc
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Proactively working across FISPAN’s internal teams, including leadership, to ensure there is full alignment and support with your strategy
- Strategic Planning: Develop a deep understanding of banks’ goals and challenges to create a comprehensive new bank sales strategy
- Product & Industry Knowledge: You are a subject matter expert on our products, services, and many different industry trends that effectively communicates FISPAN’s value to clients
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Constantly looking for areas of opportunity and improvement across the enterprise

Small/medium-sized businesses (SMBs) have come under heightened operational pressure over recent years. It’s no help that this group has historically been radically underserved by legacy banks, but now the tide is turning: many banking institutions are doubling down on improving the quality and efficiency of their commercial banking solutions, and software company FISPAN is helping them get there.
FISPAN helps companies embed their commercial banking services into the existing ERP or accounting software used by their customers to run businesses. It’s a great way for banks to outsource the level of innovation required to keep up with commercial client demand - and, therefore, a great way of competing with the more agile neobanks, who are siphoning off legacy banking clients in substantial numbers.
FISPAN’s astute positioning has made its platform increasingly attractive for banks under pressure to keep up with the breakneck pace of change in fintech. It’s taking advantage of it too, with plans to expand to the lucrative European and Asian Pacific banking markets, and accelerated product development fuelled by 2025's Series B round of funding.
