Demand Generation Manager, Zero Gravity

• This role is probably for you if you have been the first or one of the first marketers somewhere and built the engine yourselF
• It is probably not for you if your best work has been optimising one channel inside a large team, or if your experience is mostly consumer or paid-only acquisition
• We're building a new category; and we need someone who can thrive in the opportunity and ambiguity
• You have built a marketing engine from close to zero before, as the first or one of the first marketers, rather than running one someone else built
• You default to solving problems using AI; agentic workflows and analysis
• A track record of driving MQLs and pipeline through a mix of events, ABM, digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns
• Hands-on across email, marketing automation and drip campaigns, and comfortable building nurture sequences that move people from first touch to closed won
• You own direction, not just execution: you balance the day-to-day campaigns with the strategy that builds the funnel over the year, diagnose where the funnel breaks, and would rather ship, measure and improve than wait for the perfect plan
• Specific, not generic: you can explain why a campaign works, who it is for and what you would do if it fails, using real examples from your own work
• Passionate about impact: you care about outcomes, not outputs, and you want the work you do to genuinely change life chances

Desirable

• There is no playbook to inherit here. You will decide what we test, ship it, measure it and tell us plainly what worked and what to kill
• You get real ownership, a test-and-expand budget, a commercial team who mostly come from schools, and leaders who will be in the room with you at every stage
• You will not get a channel to optimise or a plan someone else wrote
• Own the demand engine for Zero Gravity Tutor end to end: help set the strategy, run the channels and campaigns, and own the outcome as we take the product to schools. You'll help write the playbook that doesn't fully exist yet. You'll build it, run it, and improve it as we go
• Own our events end to end: the conferences we attend (BETT, ASCL, Schools & Academies Show) and the ones we run ourselves (webinars, roundtables, our own schools events), from logistics through to the follow-up
• Build and run the account-based campaigns that move teachers and leaders from first touch to sign-up, and freemium sign-ups to paid, watching activation and conversion, not just lead volume
• Build our top-of-funnel presence where our buyers already are (LinkedIn for senior leaders, teacher communities and Facebook groups, the education press), so that when a headteacher starts looking, we're already the name they know
• Turn wins into an engine: case studies, quotes, references and referrals that power the next campaign and keep the pipeline full
• Diagnose the funnel and forecast it: find where sign-ups, MQLs and pipeline leak, propose and test fixes, set clear metrics on every campaign, and keep a data-backed view of where we stand and which lever to pull next

• Initial 30-minute interview
• Task-based interview to assess how you approach your work
• Values interview with our Founder/CEO and other members of the team
