Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of PM experience working with top tier engineering teams, ideally a minimum of 3 years in a customer-centric product or activation or growth product role
- Track record of working with junior and senior engineers alike, being not only a trusted thought partner but also creating spaces for joint problem solving
- Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on being clear, concise, and informative
- You are a self-starter with a track record of navigating ambiguity and producing concrete results to complex products (not just features)
- You bring structure and process across multiple stakeholders to effectively manage projects
What the job involves
- As a Product Manager at Anrok, you will own the application onboarding experience and accelerate user activation. You will work closely with engineering to design and ship a self-serve experience for startups getting started on the Anrok platform
- You will work closely with engineering, sales, customer support, and finance teams to create a seamless customer activation experience
- Identify, measure, and reduce bottlenecks in the customer journey from prospect to paid customer to support making the right growth decisions for Anrok
- Develop strategies for improving the customer onboarding experience to accelerate the customer’s journey from sign-up to getting value from Anrok
- Own the customer onboarding experience and launch improvements from small features to the future self-serve product
- Work cross-functionally to prioritize and launch new products and features on the Anrok platform
- Do whatever it takes to make your product launch and team successful. The buck stops with you
Our take
Software is becoming an increasingly taxable enterprise, in increasingly nuanced and jurisdiction-specific ways thanks to new rulings in the late 2010s. SaaS companies need to keep track of both their physical and economic nexuses, leaving many companies scrambling to stay compliant. Anrok has developed a simple API-based solution to help companies get there.
Anrok's no-code, out-of-the-box tool helps businesses easily calculate sales tax monitoring, calculation, and remittance wherever their product is used, and easily identify new exposures. It’s a simple solution to a complex problem, and the result for Anrok has been impressive funding and strong growth in the short few years it’s been in operation.
This will in part be thanks to the company’s astute pricing model: much like SaaS businesses themselves, it’s based on demand. This makes it scaleable enough to encompass both smaller and enterprise SaaS clients. This, in turn, means Anrok’s addressable market within the SaaS sector is substantial. And that’s a sector that in itself is continuing to see remarkable growth. All this makes it a promising, and as of yet fairly unchallenged, position that Anrok is carving out.
