What the job involves

Be proactive in ideation based on culture, consumer, competitor and brand insights, rather than waiting for a brief
- Create and publish high-quality, social-first content at pace, including UGC, trend-led and personality-led formats, adapted for each channel rather than resized. Be willing to be the face of the brand and feature in content
- Own TikTok as a priority channel - ideation, creation, publishing and optimisation, including UGC and creator content, day-to-day community engagement and TikTok Shop
- Run the Creator & Affiliate program to deliver engaging content that the brand can deploy in paid ads. Recruit and manage affiliates, brief and equip them, track commitments and follow up, and grow the network and content output to drive measurable, attributable revenue
- Own the social content calendar. Plan ahead across campaigns, launches, products and key moments, briefing creative with enough lead time, and working closely with Brand, Creative, Content and the coaching teams
- Own community engagement. Respond to comments, DMs and mentions in the brand's voice and build genuine community across channels
- Track performance and tell the story. Go beyond the numbers to what's working, what isn't and why, the trends behind it, and clear recommendations for what to do next; test and iterate constantly
- Stay on the pulse of fitness and social culture - trends, formats, emerging creators and competitor activity - and turn the relevant ones into MARCHON content

Our take
As the UK fitness industry continues to grow, MARCHON has created a wide-reaching fitness brand to meet the lifestyle needs of increasingly health-conscious consumers.
The company operates gyms, offers online training and sells fitness products such as apparel and supplements. Its approach is not only to supply products but to support a lifestyle of "limitless growth, strength, and achievement" for its customers.
Operating in a growing space means that MARCHON has great potential for growth. The company already has four gyms and a broad range of training, product and merch options - and with the UK's strong and growing appetite for fitness, further growth for the company seems inevitable.
