Who you are
- This is a great opportunity for anyone that is keen to grow their career in a fast-paced, high-performing team that is managing our corporate housing sales
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an outbound sales role
- Effective and persuasive communicator (both verbal and written) with an ability to clearly summarize Blueground’s value proposition
- Excellent negotiation skills, account management skills, and customer-centric attitude
- Possess the ability to create relationships with corporate decision-makers
- Empathy for clients' needs: Ability to balance business targets with clients' needs while having a "close the deal" attitude
- Experience using CSR tools like Salesforce and an ability to pick up new sales related tools and platforms at a quick pace
- Exceptional prioritization and organization skills and the ability to multi-task competing priorities
- Exposure to the hospitality industry (mobility & corporate housing) with an existing network will be considered a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a B4B Account Manager- New Business to join our team in Paris
- In this role, you will be responsible for building local strategic prospecting plans, sourcing new corporate opportunities , and conducting local sales meetings to close warm leads, all while being our boots-on-the-ground representative to enhance the partnership between Blueground for Business and the local team
- Create a sales pipeline and close new corporate accounts through proactive outreach to prospective clients utilizing a combination of email campaigns, networking, and market research
- Communicate value proposition to clients that speaks intimately to their needs and requirements
- Cultivate and build strong business relationships with key corporate decision-makers (i.e., HR, Procurement, Travel Managers, Global Mobility, Office Managers)
- Networking in local associations, organizations for Corporate Housing, and Business Travel
- Conduct local sales visits to offices in the region (in person)
- Conducting apartment tours with corporate buyers

It operates thousands of properties in 20+ cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Dubai, Istanbul, Paris, London, and Athens.
Taking clear inspiration from Airbnb, Blueground caters to the increasing demand for all medium and long-stay rentals - both from holidayers seeking more unique stays, and the growing nomadic workforce. Its focus on the renter experience - with additional services, such as regular housekeeping or maintenance, available through its app - are what makes the company stand out in the space.
Blueground has stated aims to have a presence in 50 cities around the world and a portfolio of more than 50,000 apartments by 2025, an ambitious goal that will rely heavily on its ability to scale its operationally-intensive business (due to the local support teams required). The recent acquisition of corporate housing specialist Travelers Haven will enable it to expand its US footprint, as it invests its latest funds into growth.
