Company mission
To allow property owners, builders, and inspectors to successfully manage construction projects throughout a project's entire lifecycle.
Role
Who you are
- Experience as an operations manager, customer success manager, or equivalent
- Track record of building and/or improving QA processes, standard operating procedures, and operational metrics
- Strong written and verbal communicator, able to document standards clearly and explain technical issues to non-technical customers and stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment where processes are being established
- Work in-office 5 days per week with occasional travel to customer sites throughout the United States
What the job involves
- The Operations Manager will lead the Company's final deliverables to its customers, owning the end-to-end process by which 360° imagery and video walkthroughs become accurate, customer-ready floor plans, digital twins, and asset data. You’ll set the quality standards, optimize the workflows, and own the end product
- This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll manage a small, close-knit team of specialists and interns. You will also be a player-coach fluent in the work that needs to be done: diagnosing registration and alignments, judging whether a capture is fit for production, and verifying that scale, coordinates, and asset placement are accurate. You’ll work closely with the VP's of Operations and Engineering to turn recurring QA steps into automated checks with customer-facing teams to make sure what we promise matches what we deliver
- Own the final deliverable to our operations, facility and compliance customers in healthcare and construction
- Define and maintain accuracy and quality standards (tolerances, acceptance criteria, escalation paths) and the documentation that supports them
- Hire, train, and manage operations interns and reality capture staff
- Track throughput, turnaround time, rework rates, and accuracy metrics; report on them to leadership and use them to drive process improvements
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to prioritize improvements, automate QA steps, and feed learnings back into the platform
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers on capture requirements, deliverable specifications, and accuracy questions, particularly for healthcare facility and construction clients
- Plan capacity and scheduling across concurrent customer projects, including coordination with field capture teams
- You’ll report to the VP of Operations and lead a growing team responsible for the core of what the Company delivers. Our team values consistent precision, operational rigor, and clear documentation. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, and the Go-To-Market teams while directly influencing how the company scales as our customer base grows
- We’re building tools that matter. Accurate floor plans and digital twins help healthcare facilities track critical assets, ensure life-safety compliance, detect physical environment defects, and manage physical space at scale. In this role, you’ll be the person tying them all together
Our take
Construction projects are complicated to monitor as they often run 24 hours a day, and involve many parties. The constant monitoring of a construction site helps project managers moderate quality standards, prevent workplace risk, and increase worker efficiency, ultimately leading to a demand for a 24/7 monitoring system.
Reconstruct provides a project visibility platform for construction projects, combining remote video monitoring, computer vision, scheduling, and project documents to help businesses monitor project progress 24/7. Captured footage is also applied to an overlay technology system, allowing project managers and their teams to visualise what work has been completed relative to what has not been.
Despite most construction businesses leveraging CCTV cameras to monitor project progress, this still requires manual footage analysis, Reconstruct’s remote technology and computer vision show great promise to remove this limitation. The company can greatly increase rates of on-time project completion, reduce time spent in OAC and coordination meetings, and mitigate project risk.
