Our take

One of the key issues the healthcare sector faces is updating digital systems to streamline workflows. A particular workflow is that of medical coding, which is used to translate patient information into a universal language that can be understood by insurance companies and other medical professionals.

CodaMetrix is a platform delivering AI solutions to iron out bumps in medical coding. It automates the translation of clinical data into precise medical codes, significantly reducing manual workload for healthcare providers. Since founding in 2019, the company has grown a loyal customer base including healthcare giants like Mass General Brigham and Mount Sinai Health System.

The use of AI in the medical coding space is understandably growing, and likely to become a saturated space in the future. CodaMetrix, however, looks to already be making a mark in the sector and has secured promising funding to further advance its solutions.
