Who you are
- Are you passionate about marketing, events, and generating leads? Do you enjoy working closely with a dynamic go-to-market team to drive growth?
- 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in demand generation, field marketing, or event marketing
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with go-to-market teams
- Event experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks from ideation to execution
- Experience with marketing automation tools and data-driven marketing is advantageous
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work independently when needed
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: You have strong organizational skills with a focus on metrics, process improvement, and delivering high-quality work
- Excellent Communicator: You’re able to present ideas clearly and work well across teams and departments
- Bilingual: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; additional language skills are always a plus

What the job involves
- We're looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to join our talented team in the Benelux region

- As a Regional Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various marketing campaigns and events that drive business growth
- You'll collaborate closely with our go-to-market team to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives
- End to end ownership of the marketing plan for the Benelux, including program development, measurement, and ensuring region is tracking towards revenue targets
- Drive the development and execution of pipeline generation and conversion campaigns, ensuring consistent pipeline growth for the BNL region
- Plan, organize, and manage events such as tradeshows, industry conferences, and live events that enhance brand presence and support business objectives
- Work alongside the go-to-market team to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales goals and track the success of various initiatives. Provide leadership on the regional business and ensure the field team is getting what they need to support business growth effectively. Communicate regularly with sales leadership, field sales and BDRs
- Understand regional specific needs, including brand awareness efforts and localization needs, and deliver against these needs effectively
- Help measure and report the performance of marketing campaigns and budget spend, ensuring alignment with growth and revenue targets
Our take
Mendix’s low-code software helps companies build their own custom software applications more quickly and efficiently.
It was founded in 2005 and didn't get much traction, only raising its first round of funding in 2011. Since then, the amount of software being built has exploded, giving Mendix a market to grow into.
Research company Gartner predicts low-code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity by 2024.
Siemens, one of the largest industrial companies, acquired Mendix in August 2018. Since then, Mendix has been developing new low-code applications, such as connectors for Amazon Web Services, staying in line with the increased interest in low-code tech.
