- 3-5 years of account management experience ensuring customer satisfaction, adoption, retention and expansion with at least 1 year within a SaaS startup. Healthcare experience a plus
- Proven track record of managing customer escalations, balancing customer expectations and negotiating successful resolutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact with client teams at various levels of technical and non-technical depth
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tech-savvy, familiarity with Salesforce and G Suite tools a plus
What the job involves
- As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success, retention and expansion of Medely Customers
- The Account Manager will be expected to proactively reach out to customers in order to: guide customer success and strategy, conduct recurring business reviews, identify up-sell opportunities, and manage customer renewals
- The Account Manager must be versatile as they'll interact with different customers at different levels every day while working closely with multiple different departments at Medely
- This position may require occasional travel, both local and overnight, to meet with clients and with members of the medical community, to establish relationships with clients and to promote Medely Inc
- Own the overall post-launch relationship with Medely customers
- Increase customer platform usage and adoption
- Ensure customer retention and contract renewal
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Up-sell and uncovering new revenue opportunities
- Develop, prepare, and nurture customers
- Work with customers to establish critical goals, key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals
- Manage customer escalations

Medely provides health professionals with an online portal for finding work. Nurses and allied healthcare providers can utilize the platform to secure a job when it suits them and at their preferred rates. Healthcare centers use the system to find suitable employees, manage their workforce, and track billable hours.
There is a worldwide nursing shortage, with burnout common among healthcare professionals, leaving many healthcare employers to increasingly rely on data-driven recruitment tools such as Medely. By offering greater flexibility, and bringing casual work to healthcare, the company aims to reduce shortages and increase industry retention - even giving workers who previously left the sector a way back in.
Medely has secured a good stance in the field of the nursing gig economy, with several thousands of hospitals and outpatient facilities using the company for their staffing needs. That said, with a collection of competitors such as IntelyCare, CareRev, and Nomad - all of which also offer marketplaces for healthcare workers - Medely must work hard to continue growing its presence.
