Thermal Fluid Mechanical Engineer, Johnson Controls

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related field
• 3+ years of experience
• Expertise in thermal management, heat transfer, and related system design principles
• Experience in a customer-facing capacity (e.g., applications, sales, or field engineering)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee technical projects
• Experience in project management fundamentals, with a focus on execution, including requirements definition, risk management, and schedule oversight
• Export Control Requirement: This position may require access to information, technology, technical data, software, or other items subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. • Once a project is won, lead a cross-functional team of engineers to ensure the successful execution of the project
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards
• Support clear, proactive communication with customers, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving technical challenges efficiently
• Collaborate closely with sales and technical sales teams during handover phases to ensure continuity and a deep understanding of customer expectations
• Drive project success by aligning internal engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders around clear objectives and deliverables
• Develop novel thermal-fluid solutions and concepts that map our capabilities to customer needs
• Participate in initial analysis and feasibility assessments to determine if a customer's problem is a strong fit for our technology
• Distill insights from projects to help inform the product and technology roadmap
