- Cloud/data security industry experience a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and SalesNavigator preferred
- You love to foster relationships and enjoy interpersonal interactions
- You’re self-motivated and can hit the ground running in prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects
- You’re excited to learn the fundamentals of sales and are eager to apply your communication skills to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- As a Business Development Representative , you will be in charge of expanding our user-base and qualifying potential B2B sales prospects as you leverage lead campaigns including cold calling, email, and social media
- In addition, your role entails helping line up named accounts, with a huge opportunity for growth
What the job involves
- We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team
- In this role, you will reach out to many prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to educate them on moving away from legacy and ineffective tools in favor of a modern data security solution
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build lead lists, craft outbound messaging, and share results with the larger sales team
- Prospect into accounts within your territory and find leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart
- Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies
- Manage inbound inquiries and lead management
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cyera Data Security Platform, industry trends, and competition
- Strive to exceed targets for daily activities and monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
- Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level executives in the security space

Our take
With the allure of agility and globalization, companies are shifting to the cloud in record numbers. But in an environment of worsening cyber-threat, data protection must shift with them. Cyera, founded in 2021 and emerged from stealth in 2022, responds to the lack of cloud-based, data-conscious security support for companies.
