Role
Who you are
- You’ve led product (and ideally design) at a high-growth B2B or fintech company and have seen what “good” actually looks like
- You have expertise with banking in the United States via direct experience at a bank, credit union, neobank or vendor to financial services
- You’re not just a strategist, you’ve shipped real products and know how to get teams across the finish line
- You have strong product taste and a deep respect for design and user experience
- You understand how product connects to revenue, not just usage
- You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions without perfect information
- You can push back on founders and executives when needed, and do it in a way that builds trust
- You’re a strong communicator who can simplify complex ideas and create alignment across teams
- You care deeply about building great teams and holding a high performance bar
What the job involves
- This role oversees the entire Product organization including Product Management, Design and Product Operation
- You’ll own the multi-year product vision and quarterly roadmap
- You aren't just adding features; you’re deciding how millions of Americans will interact with their money
- You’ll report directly to one of our co-founders and work closely with company leadership to define where we’re going and make sure we actually get there
- This is not a “strategy-only” role
- You’ll be expected to operate at every level, from shaping long-term direction to getting into the details when something isn’t working
- Own the product strategy and make it real:
- Define and evolve the product vision for the Narmi platform across the entire suite of products
- Work with product teams to translate strategy into clear priorities, tradeoffs, and roadmaps that teams can execute against
- Ensure our product direction is tightly aligned to company goals, especially revenue and customer impact
- Turn product into a competitive advantage:
- Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand what’s winning and where we’re losing
- Shape the product story in a way that resonates with buyers and differentiates us in the market
- Be able to represent Narmi’s product to customers, prospects, and partners
- Work with Engineering to drive innovation
- Lead Product and Design as one system:
- Build and manage a high-performing team across product management, product operations and product design
- Raise the bar on product thinking, quality, design and decision-making across the team
- Ensure strong partnership with Engineering
- Drive execution and accountability:
- Hold a high bar for shipping quality products on time
- Identify where we’re getting stuck (process, people, priorities) and fix it
- Create clarity when things are ambiguous and make decisions that move the business forward
- Be a force multiplier for the company:
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to align on priorities
- Bring structure to how we evaluate opportunities, partnerships, and investments
- Help build the systems and processes we need to scale from Series B to the next stage

Our take
The digitisation of the banking world, led by the likes of Monzo, Wise and N26 and adopted by legacy banks, threatens to leave smaller institutions behind. With over half of Americans doing most of their banking online, and just under half of the banking market share held by banks outside the top 15, Narmi is allowing its clients to close this gap.
Narmi provides cloud-based technology to credit unions, regional and community banks, allowing them to provide secure digital onboarding and e-banking to consumers and small businesses. Today, financial institutions with billions of dollars in deposits use Narmi to increase profitability, deposits, and accounts.
The company has decided to target the grassroots, with whom local banks are more popular, particularly older customers who have only recently turned to digital banking. This approach has won it the confidence of Greycroft, NEA and Picus Capital, who co-led its 2022 Series B funding round. Narmi is using these funds to continue its impressive growth through several high-profile partnerships with the likes of Treasury Prime and First Bank.
