- Previous experience recruiting and scaling an early-stage team

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced GTM Recruiter to join our team as we aim to double the size of our GTM org this year.
- You will play a crucial role in enhancing our recruitment process, driving candidate engagement, and ensuring we attract top talent across both technical and nontechnical roles.
- The ideal candidate will have a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ), possess a strong sense of ownership, and demonstrate the ability to move with urgency
- This role is best suited for someone who will be able to handle the dynamic nature of a high-growth startup, and have creativity around how/where to source strong talent.
- We operate as a lean team, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and passionate about growing teams remotely. The ideal candidate will be able to balance long-term focus with practical day-to-day execution
- Manage candidates through the entire interview process (sourcing, updating candidate pipeline, coordinating interviews, setting expectations, etc.) while maintaining an excellent candidate experience
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified passive candidates
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance and support throughout the hiring process
- Develop and execute strategies to improve candidate closing processes
- Enhance referral programs to maximize the number of network-based referrals
- Gather feedback from candidates and make data-driven improvements to the recruitment process including employer branding initiatives
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and refine interview loops, questions, and competencies to align with company goals and values
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in all recruitment activities
Our take
The inspiration for WorkOS came from the founder’s previous email startup, Nylas, and the difficulties he faced in crossing what he calls “the enterprise chasm.” The challenge of serving enterprise clients, and meeting their stringent security and admin requirements, is one that many B2B SaaS startups face as they start to scale.
WorkOS steps in at this critical stage, providing a single API driven platform which enables its customers to easily integrate with the major vendors that provide enterprise security and admin solutions. For example, rather than building individual integrations with each of the single sign-on (SSO) providers, a customer would only need to integrate with WorkOS in order to support these solutions.
Enterprise features that WorkOS is providing building blocks for include Single Sign-On, Directory Sync, Audit Trail, and more. WorkOS is helping a wide range of SaaS providers break into enterprise channels and was bolstered by substantial Series B funding in 2022. In that same year, WorkOS acquired its first company, UI framework builder Modulz, a deal that's broadening the scope of API products WorkOS can offer.
