Who you are
- Have prior experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in a pipeline-generating Sales role
- Help us to design and manage our current Outbound Engine
- Be a self-starter who enjoys creating process and procedures for a scaling business
- Be highly empathetic to prospects as a strong brand representative for Vanta
- Have stellar problem solving skills, and an enthusiasm for making a large impact early on at a start-up
- Be comfortable with working many accounts at once, and tailoring messaging to many different industries and segments
- Fluency in written and spoken English and a Nordic language required
What the job involves
- Have a strong understanding of Vanta’s value proposition and product
- Master the process of identifying strategic accounts using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Linkedin Sales Nav, and Cognism, that will help us move up market
- Organize a multi-channel approach to prospecting and maximize efforts by balancing personalisation and scale
- Shape our foundational programs, and their continued evolution
- Collaborate with account executives to secure meetings with target accounts
- Efficiently and gracefully counter objections, as well as have excellent interpersonal & technical skills
- Challenge the market to think differently about how certain aspects of security programs might be improved through the introduction of emerging technologies and services
Our take
The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for start-ups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with start-ups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
Vanta has found a valuable cybersecurity niche within the giant SaaS market. Companies such as Lattice, Clubhouse, and Calm are all customers, demonstrating a growing trend for companies to manage their cybersecurity proactively, which Vanta should be able to take advantage of to further grow and develop into the future.
