Who you are
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5 equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Management Control, Audit, or a related field
- Initial professional experience through an internship, apprenticeship, or permanent position in accounting, audit, or finance
- Experience in an international environment would be a plus
- Good command of Excel, including lookup functions, pivot tables, and formulas
- Good understanding of revenue recognition principles under both Local GAAP and IFRS 15
- Knowledge of Workday Finance would be an advantage
- Fluent French and professional English, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in demanding environments
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data
- Curiosity and a strong willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
What the job involves
- As part of the strengthening of our Finance team, we are looking for a Junior Finance Revenue Controller to support the management and accuracy of revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will contribute to monthly closing activities, customer contract analysis, and revenue recognition processes in an international environment
- Revenue & Monthly Closing:
- Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities
- Ensure the accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS 15 and local GAAP
- Contract Analysis:
- Analyze customer contracts to identify performance obligations and applicable revenue recognition requirements
- Verify consistency between contractual terms and the accounting treatment applied
- Monitor contract renewals, amendments, and terminations
- Set up new contracts in Workday
- Controls & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly revenue-related reconciliations
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reporting
- Support the continuous improvement of processes and internal controls
- Audit Support:
- Prepare documentation requested as part of internal and external audits
- Contribute to the maintenance and updating of Revenue Accounting procedures
