Role
Who you are
- Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA, MSc, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience in sales / business development in one of the following fields: HPC, AI, or Quantum
- Proven experience managing the full, end-to-end sales cycle and selling complex solutions to large enterprise clients, with a strong ability to persuade using solid, tailored arguments
- Excellent knowledge of the Nordic and Benelux markets and the quantum computing industry is essential
- Proven track record of direct engagement with external clients
- Excellent negotiation, listening, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-level stakeholders, and to build strong, lasting relationships that support future sales
- Experience managing a national or regional technical sales team
- Experience preparing and negotiating commercial contracts, in compliance with applicable legal frameworks and regulations across relevant Nordic and Benelux jurisdictions
- Autonomous profile, service-oriented leadership ("servant leadership"), team spirit, ambitious and creative
- Ability and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-changing startup environment
- English: flawless professional fluency required (written and spoken). A Nordic language or Dutch would be a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of quantum computing or a related field (physics, engineering, computer science, quantum machine learning, etc.)
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Nordic countries and the Benelux region
What the job involves
- As Senior Regional Sales, Nordics & Benelux, you will drive the entire sales process, from strategy to deal closing, while overseeing commercial and sales engineering operations across the Nordic countries and the Benelux region
- You will define and deploy B2B strategies and deliver value to our current and future strategic clients in the region
- You will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving revenue growth across the Nordics and Benelux
- Working closely with our global sales team, you will actively contribute to PASQAL's mission: unlocking the potential of quantum computing and enabling end users to accelerate their applications
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets across your assigned Nordics and Benelux territory and accounts
- Develop and implement B2B sales strategies and strategic growth plans for the Nordics and Benelux region, particularly with strategic clients in the region
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Develop initiatives to strengthen these relationships and grow their annual consumption of PASQAL products and services
- Communicate our unique value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participate in the full end-to-end sales cycle across the assigned region
- Prospect and engage new potential clients from targeted industry sectors across the Nordics and Benelux through events, conferences, emails, phone calls, and video conferences
- Participate in and speak at relevant industry events to promote PASQAL products and services, including managing the PASQAL booth at conferences
- Define and communicate sales objectives, and provide regular progress reporting to leadership
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales team (VP Sales EMEA, content marketing, product/go-to-market marketing, content management, and Business Development Managers from other regions), as well as with PASQAL's R&D teams
- Work with the marketing team to create and update marketing materials tailored to the Nordics and Benelux markets
- Stay continuously informed on new products/services as well as new pricing and payment offerings
- Report commercial results (weekly / monthly / quarterly) to the VP Sales EMEA

Our take
Classical computing, using bits made up of ones and zeros, has almost reached the physical limits of its capabilities, with engineers running out of ways to fit more transistors onto a computer chip. Meanwhile, the processing demands on computing hardware only increase. Quantum computers have long been posited as a solution to this issue, with processors able to exploit quantum mechanics to perform calculations exponentially faster than any classical computer. Founded by a Nobel Prize for Physics recipient, Pasqal exists to bring quantum computing out of the realm of scientific research (and science fiction) and into the business world for the first time.
Pasqal is not alone in the race to produce quantum computers, and it faces competition from well-funded rivals such as IonQ and IBM. However, it is pursuing a different technological line - neural atom computing, which can manipulate individual atoms with laser tweezers. This has the advantage of being more scalable and energy efficient, and can run at room temperature rather than requiring supercooling.
In 2025, Pasqal closed an equity funding round from LG Electronics, a partnership which will see the companies work together to solve multiphysics simulation and optimisation challenges for LG. Having successfully built proof of concept models and overcome the technical challenges of manipulating a few and then hundreds of atoms, Pasqal is building a bespoke control system and beginning to implement quantum algorithms. Pasqal was also awarded one of five grants from the French Ministry of Defence in 2024, as part of a government plan to create 2 universal quantum computer systems for defence purposes by 2032. This new development indicates Pasqal's expansion from solely business purposes into new sectors where its technology can be impactful.
