Senior Software Development Engineer, Workday

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills
• 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-level software with a focus on performance, scalability and security as part of a multi-functional team
• 5 + years experience in Java, with an expert level understanding
• 3+ years experience in front-end development; creating RESTful Web applications, developed within the React ecosystem
• Demonstrable track record in technical leadership - people, product & process

• Collaborate with fellow engineers to continually improve methodologies, standards, processes, and tools to make teams more efficient
• Lead and mentor other engineers on the team
• Be a flexible teammate as part of a fast-paced product development team
• Use your proven troubleshooting and triaging skills to resolve escalated production and customer issues
• Design and lead meaningful features with a strong focus on non-functional requirements. (scalability, performance, monitoring, maintenance, security, usability and quality etc)
• Provide technical influence within the team, with ability to lead technical & functional discussions
• Suggest enhancements for the product and build pipelines
