Who you are
- Experienced building technical products from ideation to launch
- Entrepreneurial and have and passion for user-centric products and APIs
- Influential in keeping engineers motivated to build toward a common goal
- Experienced evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
- An excellent written and verbal communicator
What the job involves
- Own the platform product roadmap, focusing on internal systems ranging from payments, data, communication, integrations, internal tools, shared services, APIs, etc
- Deliver internal products and experiences by combining a deep understanding of business strategy with creative product strategy and technical acumen
- Leverage data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve product offerings
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and processes that allow Superblocks to grow the product management function at various stages of our growth
Our take
Founders Brad Menezes and Ran Ma went through the same process again and again of building new custom tools at every company they worked for, so they decided to do something about it. Realising that building blocks were usually very similar, they’ve created a universal building platform that allows companies to build custom tools more quickly and easily than before.
Superblocks' selling point is customization - it has a wide range of app, SSO and monitoring integrations, including Slack, Google, and Datadog. It also offers both a managed service and a hybrid model with open-source packages.
However, the market for customer tools and workflow automation is a competitive one, with plenty of rivals like Retool and Airplane with good reputations and large customer bases. Superblocks stands in good stead though, with the impressive level of funding it has raised focussed on improving and expanding the range of tools it offers.
