Tax Manager, Circle

• What you’ll bring to Circle:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or a CPA preferred
• 7+ years of income tax compliance and financial reporting experience with a combination of large public accounting firm and corporate tax departments
• Experience managing relationships with external advisors and auditors
• Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed timely
• Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative
• Experience/familiarity with with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite

• Circle is looking for an experienced and exceptional Tax Manager to join its high growth team
• This role will provide support for a broad range of tax matters, including compliance & reporting, and various special projects
• Preparing aspects of the global tax provision and transfer pricing in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests
• Responding to notices from various tax authorities
• Assisting with direct and indirect tax compliance
• Drafting technical memoranda on the company’s tax positions
• Being responsible for the relevant SOX controls around compliance and reporting
• Driving improvements to the company's overall tax position and assisting with special projects as needed
