Software Engineer, Fleetio

• This role is part of the Engineering department and reports to the Engineering Manager
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Experience building full-stack web applications and customer-facing features
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with writing efficient database queries and working with application data
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Growth Engineering is focused on helping customers realize value from Fleetio as quickly as possible by building thoughtful onboarding experiences, improving product adoption, and experimenting with features that drive long-term engagement
• In this role, you'll build features across the product that make it easier for users to discover value, adopt new workflows, and successfully manage their fleets
