What the job involves
- Product specialists work with the product team to ensure excellent product delivery
- They have a wealth of knowledge about a product or range, and also recommend improvements and identify opportunities
- They should have strong customer service and analytical skills
- Participate in user interviews, analyze feedback, and collaborate on reviewing product metrics to help the PO prioritize more effectively
- Identify and suggest product improvements based on Customer Journey mapping and Jobs to Be Done analysis
- Help the PO groom and maintain the product backlog, ensuring tickets are well-defined and ready for development
- Help the PO manage daily product-related incidents
- Help the PO resolve product-related questions from other teams such as CS, Marketing, Finance, and Sales
- Create prototypes for new features, collaborating with the Design team and providing specifications and visual guidance to the rest of the team
- Work hand-in-hand with developers to build experimental Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to accelerate feature launches
- Provide support to quality assurance when needed in specific features
- Help in coordinating cross-functional communications for feature launches, ensuring product value is effectively conveyed to customers
- Help the team identify process improvement areas and detect and implement automations to increase operational efficiency

Carrying out services ranging from accounting to performance management, it is a big part of ensuring a business runs smoothly. It is no wonder, then, that the global ERP market is worth over $25 billion, and is growing between 10-20% per year. Projected to reach over $75 billion by 2026, it is clear that this industry has a big decade ahead.
Holded is gunning to become one of the biggest players in the ERP space. In a nutshell, its software product gives small businesses access to ERP-style planning across invoicing, accounting, sales, project management, inventory management, and HR, in one dashboard. By targeting smaller businesses as their primary consumer base, Holded is banking on a potential market that's been left behind by traditional ERP platforms, which have only really been available to large enterprises.
Following major funding in 2021, Holded's focus turned to expanding its product and team. In the long run, its acquisition by Visma will allow it to benefit from Visma's international experience, which will be a huge boost to both product development and future opportunities for international expansion.
