What the job involves
- Work closely with our sales team to identity and develop new business
- Have a real knowledge of London restaurants where existing relationships with restaurant owners is a bonus
- Responsible for approaching big companies and pitching to them about our business in hope to increase bulk corporate orders
- Contact restaurants by emails, cold-calling, etc for new business development opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing restaurant partners
- Being aware of market trends and competitors
- Arranging meetings with potential new restaurant partners
- Being the point of contact for Plateaway for new partners who want to come on board, and for existing partners to be able to come to for questions, enquiries, updates etc
- Managing partner expectations of Plateaway and understanding the business needs of restaurants and providing solutions to meet those needs
- Being organised and gathering all the information needed from the partners to be able to come on site
- Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and partners to grow the business
- Maintain strong product and service knowledge offered by Plateaway that allows effective sales presentation to restaurants
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities including sales calls, closed sales, and follow-up activities
