Company mission
To empower teams with the best tech tools to hire better together.
Role
Who you are
- Fluent Dutch (C1 or higher) and English. Dutch is a hard requirement
- Commercial experience in a SaaS or tech environment, ideally in account management or expansion, with a track record of building and growing strategic accounts
- You have built, managed and closed your own pipeline, and you have negotiated with several stakeholders at director level
- An entrepreneurial streak. You take ownership and start things without waiting to be asked
- Commercial judgement. You quantify value, build business cases that hold up and prioritise accounts by long term value
- A customer first approach. You spot expansion opportunities without losing sight of the relationship
- Discipline in pipeline management and CRM
What the job involves
- Grow Tellent's most strategic customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. As Strategic Account Manager Benelux, you own a portfolio of our most valuable accounts and bring them further into Tellent Recruitee, Tellent HR and Tellent Grow
- Your focus is expansion: upselling, cross selling and upgrades. Customer Experience owns renewals, so your time goes into growth. It is a senior role with real autonomy. You own your portfolio, you build your own pipeline, and as the most senior account manager in the team you set the standard for how strategic accounts are run
- You join the Benelux Account Management team in our Amsterdam office. You work closely with Customer Experience, Marketing and Revenue Operations. Together with Customer Experience you keep an eye on account health, timing and expansion readiness, so you know when a customer is ready to grow
- First 3 months:
- You learn our products, our customers and where the expansion opportunities are. You take over your portfolio, start building account plans for your top accounts and have your first commercial conversations
- Within 6 months:
- You run your portfolio independently and build your own pipeline. You have strong relationships across your accounts and your discovery conversations are about business impact. In deal reviews and forecasting, your input counts
- After 1 year:
- You manage several complex expansion trajectories at once, backed by a healthy and well covered pipeline. You make a clear contribution to net revenue retention and you raise the commercial standard for the team
- Own and grow a portfolio of Tellent's most strategic Benelux accounts and build long term relationships with the people who decide
- Drive expansion through upselling, cross selling and upgrades, bringing customers further into the Tellent platform
- Build a full picture of every account: who decides, how often they hire, how their talent processes run, which agencies they work with and how the group is structured. Then spot where Tellent can add value
- Write account plans that run several quarters ahead and anticipate what a customer needs before they ask
- Build your own pipeline through proactive outreach
- Run discovery conversations with senior stakeholders up to director level, with several contacts per account, always focused on business value
- Work with Customer Experience on account health, timing and expansion readiness
- Keep your pipeline, forecast and CRM in HubSpot accurate and up to date
- Success in this role looks like:
- Consistent expansion revenue from upselling, cross selling and upgrades across your portfolio
- A healthy, well covered pipeline that you built yourself, with forecasts that hold
- Deep relationships with several people in each of your most strategic accounts
- Account plans in place and moving for your top accounts
- A strong working partnership with Customer Experience
Our take
On a mission to make hiring easy, fun, and accessible, Recruitee, part of Tellent, offers a cloud-based recruitment management system to assist internal HR teams of all sizes. The hiring tool centralises four products onto one platform: employer branding, job promoting, talent sourcing, and applicant tracking.
Recruitee combined with Sympa, which offers customisable core HR solutions in the Nordics, hoping that, together, they can provide their individual customers with premium digital HR solution offerings. Through constant evolution, Recruitee’s founders are working towards a goal to create a business valued at over €1B in the coming years to achieve Unicorn status.
The tech startup has cut its ties with venture capitalists and is instead self-funded, which it deems to offer more space to focus on product, building a sustainable team, and enabling the agency to make decisions about the company’s direction, paving a unique path for itself.
