Role
Who you are
- Degree in Human Resource Management, or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in event-based HR and recruiting
- Basic experience with employment law
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of HRIS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Airtable
What the job involves
- Insomniac is looking for a Seasonal HR Coordinator to support the Production HR team with sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding event-based teams
- This position will report to the Production HR Generalist
- Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open roles
- Provide optimal experience for every candidate from application stage to onboarding candidate of choice
- Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates to hiring team
- Process new hires through HRIS system and assist in new hire onboarding
- Complete the I9 verification requirements for new hires
- Coordinate the completion of background checks
- Assist HR team and employees on-site with general onboarding and payroll inquiries
- Required to work onsite in Las Vegas in November 2024
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed
