What the job involves
- As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and strengthening relationships across Unlimit’s merchant portfolio in the US market
- This is a high-impact, revenue-focused role designed for someone who excels at building trusted partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value to our clients
- You won’t just manage accounts; you will become a strategic partner to our merchants by developing long-term account plans, uncovering opportunities to expand our acquiring solutions, and helping our partners succeed in an evolving digital payments landscape
- Act as the lead consultant for key merchants and payment partners, aligning Unlimit’s innovative suite of products with their long-term business objectives
- Drive the commercial evolution of your portfolio by identifying high-value opportunities for expansion, integration, and cross-functional solution adoption
- Leverage deep data analytics to provide partners with actionable insights, optimizing their performance and reinforcing Unlimit’s position as an indispensable growth catalyst
- Collaborate with Global Product, Risk, and Engineering teams to refine the merchant journey, ensuring our infrastructure anticipates the needs of the US market
- Represent Unlimit at the highest levels of industry engagement, embodying our commitment to "unlimiting" business potential through trust, expertise, and personalized ownership
- Expertly navigate complex stakeholder environments, balancing high-stakes priorities with a focus on flawless execution and fiscal excellence
Our take
Unlimit, formerly Cardpay, offers a large portfolio of financial services, including payment processing, Banking as a Service (BaaS), and an on-ramp fiat solution for crypto, DeFi, and GameFi. The company’s offering spans Europe, the UK, LatAm, APAC, India, and Africa and provides financial solutions to deliver solutions that eliminate financial borders.
For regions of the world like Latin America, payments are not yet digitised. In countries such as Brazil, there is a huge reliance on domestic payment solutions on account of the large unbanked segment of the population. Close to 44% of its total population doesn’t have a bank account. As a result, they rely on solutions like Boleto, which is a paper slip with a barcode or an electronic voucher which can be scanned at any corner shop.
Traditionally, banks have failed to satisfy the fast and booming online markets outside of Europe and the US, leaving an opportunity for digital-first, global payment processing companies. As a result, there is fierce competition in the space. However, Unlimit is rapidly gaining pace through the acquisition of Latin American Picpay and partnerships with Asian cross-border digital payment company Alipay+ and Tron Blockchain.
