Who you are

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in financial operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role specifically in reconciliations
- Experience in the fintech or financial services industry is highly desirable
- Expert level knowledge of reconciliation practices and financial software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

- The Fintech Reconciliations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation process for various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
- This role involves managing discrepancies, working with multiple departments, and maintaining the integrity of our financial data
- Reconciliation Oversight: Lead and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation processes for our global processor and banks operations
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or variances in financial data, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and accurately
- Control Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to minimize errors and enhance the reconciliation process
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of reconciliation specialists or analysts, fostering a culture of precision and accountability
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for senior management on reconciliation status, discrepancies, and trends, highlighting areas for improvement
- Compliance: Ensure all reconciliation activities comply with financial regulations, company policies, and best practices in fintech
- System Utilization: Work closely with IT to leverage or enhance current systems or to implement new reconciliation tools or software that can increase efficiency
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive workflows and data integrity across the organization
