Role
Who you are
- Fluent in German and English - you’re comfortable talking to German-speaking retail partners on the phone and working in an international team
- Based in Berlin and open to frequent office attendance
- Some first experience in order management, inside sales, customer service, supply chain, or a commercial support role - ideally in FMCG or retail (but we’re happy to grow the right junior talent)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented - you keep track of many moving parts, and nothing falls through the cracks
- A clear, friendly communicator - you enjoy being on the phone and building trusted relationships with customers and colleagues
- A true team player - passionate about coordinating across teams and keeping things moving
- Comfortable with tools - CRM/ERP, OMS systems, and Excel don’t scare you (experience with GS1 or other base data management tools is a big plus)
- Hands-on and reliable - thrive in a fast-moving scale-up and take ownership of getting things done right
- Obsessed with accuracy, follow-through, and doing what you say you’ll do - partners trust you because you deliver
What the job involves
- Retail is where HOLY’s next chapter gets written - and you are the person who helps make it scalable. As we rebuild how HOLY runs retail, we’re turning a reactive operation into clear ownership across teams - and building a focused Inside Sales function. Our retail partners need a strong point of contact who ensures orders, invoicing, master data, and customer communication run cleanly - and who flags recurring issues early, drives follow-ups, and helps prevent backlog before it becomes a problem
- This (Junior) Inside Sales Manager role is the operational backbone of our retail business. You’ll be the day-to-day link between our retail customers and everything that happens behind the scenes - owning order management and coordinating tightly with Key Account Management, Logistics, Finance, and our Field Force
- You’ll be the go-to contact for our retail partners - on the phone, in the inbox, and in the details. This is the position for someone who loves structure, ownership, and being the person everyone can count on to get things done
- Own end-to-end order management for our retail partners - from order intake and entry to confirmation
- Be the direct point of contact for retail customers - handling their questions, orders, and requests over the phone and email, quickly and reliably
- Support cross-functional coordination with Key Account Management, Logistics, and Finance to help ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full
- Keep master data in GS1 clean and up to date - accurate product data and article details are on you
- Support invoicing and reconciliation together with Finance, and help resolve open items with customers
- Spot recurring friction in the order process and help improve the way we work as our retail business grows

- Getting to know you: You will have a 30-minute screening interview with Eric, our Talent Acquisition Manager, discussing HOLY and the position and seeing if our expectations match
- Hiring Manager Interview with Johnny: Diving deeper into some more technical topics and your experience with Johnny, our Sr. Sales Operations Manager
- Case study: As soon as you have successfully completed the first interviews, you will receive a case study
- In-person discussion: In this on-site meeting, Johnny and the team will discuss your case study with you and answer questions in our office, the HOLY Temple. In addition, you’ll meet parts of the HOLY Retail team and learn more about HOLY’s culture, vision, and team
- Founder interview: As a strong cultural fit is important to us, you will have a final meeting with Matze, one of our HOLY founders. This gives both you and us the opportunity for a final check
- Job offer and decision: Once the process is completed, we will take the time to present you with a competitive offer, including a share package, and answer any questions you have regarding the employment, before you joining our journey

Our take
The soft drinks industry is big business, estimated to reach a value of over $600 billion by 2030. However, many of the biggest brands are full of unhealthy and unethically sourced ingredients that are not in line with the push for more sustainable products. HOLY is a German company that wants to disrupt the soft drink industry with healthier and more ethically sourced alternatives.
HOLY’s two flagship products are its energy drink and iced tea. With sugar and taurine-free ingredients, the products come in powder form, which saves 90% on packaging and significantly decreases the amount of CO2 emissions from manufacture and transport compared to canned drinks.
As with many soft drinks, HOLY’s branding is key. Its vivid designs and online presence increase its appeal for the gaming community, who would typically lean toward large competitors such as Monster Energy. With good funding at its back and a 2026 push into the UK market, HOLY is on the right path to compete with well-established rivals, having sold more than 10 million drinks solely via its online marketplace.
