Who you are
- Applicants must have a valid right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship and be based in the UK
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally in the events, music, or entertainment industry
- Strong expertise in social media management, email marketing, and digital advertising
- Experience managing external PR and media agencies, with a proven track record of securing widespread media coverage
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- A good eye for design and the ability to create static social assets
- A deep passion for electronic music and culture is essential
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to oversee the strategic planning and implementation of all marketing activities for IMS Ibiza and IMS Dubai, ensuring consistent and impactful brand representation across all platforms
- The role will also oversee marketing activities for any further global expansion of the IMS brand into new territories
- This role will be based in the UK but can work hybrid from our London office or full remote whichever is preferred and will require some travel abroad
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for IMS Ibiza and IMS Dubai, including b2c events such as IMS Dalt Vila, aligning with brand goals and objectives
- Create detailed marketing plans, including campaigns, timelines, and budgets, ensuring seamless coordination across both brands
- Conduct market research and competitor evaluation to identify opportunities and refine strategies
- Develop key visuals and creative assets for all summits and events
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality visuals and copy for all platforms
- Manage and oversee all creative output, including photography and video assets
- Oversee, plan and manage all social media channels, ensuring engaging, on-brand content that drives growth, audience engagement and drives sales of key events
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, announcements, and audience segmentation strategies
- Oversee relationships with third-party paid media agencies, ensuring campaigns are effective and deliver ROI
- Manage relationships with third-party PR agencies, ensuring widespread coverage in key media outlets
- Work closely with agencies to craft compelling press releases, manage media outreach, and secure coverage in industry-leading publications
- Identify opportunities for media partnerships, influencer collaborations, and strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility
- Drive marketing efforts leading up to IMS events, including ticket sales campaigns, speaker announcements, and program promotions
- Develop post-event marketing strategies to maintain momentum and audience engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts
- Provide regular reporting on marketing performance, campaign metrics, and recommendations for improvement
