Role
Who you are
- 3+ years experience building systems in the public cloud (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation and SAM
- Some development experience. Go, React and Bash are the languages we use, but experience in any language is ok
- Exposure to development practices such as testing, CI/CD, pair-programming, is a plus
- Most importantly: a strong desire for self-improvement and willingness to learn
What the job involves
- You will be involved in all parts of the game development process: from managing CI/CD pipelines and developing internal tooling through to building production infrastructure and supporting live games
- We run everything on AWS, so you’ll be managing all of the interactions between our games and the cloud
- Support our live games in production. You’ll use dashboards and logs to understand and respond to live incidents. Don’t worry you’ll never be alone in this!
- Build out cloud infrastructure for new and existing projects. All of our infrastructure is of course represented as code
- Contribute Go and React code to our Internal Developer Platform, as well as the many serverless applications we use to help manage our operations
- Work with us to improve Developer Experience, by managing and improving our CI/CD platforms and internal tooling
- Work closely with our game developers to globally launch our mobile games. This means cranking up the load-test lasers and stressing the systems in the run up to a launch
