Role
Who you are
- Enterprise Technical Sales (4–8+ years): Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions with $500K+ ACV to Fortune 500 enterprises. Familiarity with AI/ML, cloud platforms, enterprise SaaS, or professional services. Skilled at communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of solution, value-based, or consultative sales methodologies. Consistent record of quota attainment in complex deals
- Able to credibly discuss AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, fine-tuning, and ML pipelines at a business level (coding not required)
- Understand data architecture fundamentals: data warehouses, CDPs, APIs, integrations, data governance
- Confident leading technical product demos and collaborating with technical stakeholders. Able to ask insightful questions to uncover client requirements and constraints
- Enterprise Deal Orchestration: Expert at managing 6–12 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders; skilled at building C-suite relationships and driving sales forward through complex procurement
- Strategic Business Acumen: Capable of constructing business cases linked to client financials and strategy, translating solutions into measurable business results. Able to converse fluently with CMOs, CFOs, and CEOs
- Consultative Selling: Practices deep discovery, challenges client assumptions, and designs visionary yet pragmatic solutions
- High Agency & Execution: Driven self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to build playbooks and processes on-the-fly. Operates effectively without robust sales support infrastructure
- Communication Mastery: Strong executive presence and storytelling, outstanding written communications, and active listening that builds real client trust and insights
What the job involves
- We are seeking an AI Solutions Account Executive who can effectively sell sophisticated, technical solutions to Fortune 500 CMOs and their teams
- This is far from a standard sales role—you’ll be driving large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, fluently navigating discussions around agentic AI systems, data architectures, and business transformation while confidently engaging C-suite executives
- This position is a hybrid of technical sales, strategic consulting, and enterprise relationship management
- You will partner closely with Solutions Partners (technical architects) to design, scope, and close deals that radically improve how the world’s leading brands leverage AI
- Enterprise Sales & Pipeline Development (70%)
- Own and lead enterprise sales cycles from initial discovery to close for deals between $250K-$2M+, maintaining a pipeline that supports ambitious growth objectives (minimum 25 qualified meetings per quarter)
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments including CMOs, CDOs, CTOs, and Fortune 500 teams—clearly communicating technical value propositions for AI systems, ML pipelines, and workflow integrations
- Structure multi-phase engagements (from pilot to full implementation) and deliver on conversion targets: 30% SAL→SQL, 30% SQL→CWB, and approx. 9% overall SAL→CWB
- Collaborate with Solutions Partners to shape client problems into actionable technical solutions and winning proposals. Lead the development of commercial and technical proposals that stand out
- Design deal structures that optimize client risk, proof-of-concept opportunities, and long-term growth, with persuasive business cases supported by ROI analyses. Confidently navigate procurement and legal processes
- Market Intelligence & Positioning (30%)
- Become an expert in the CPG/Retail vertical, deeply understanding the unique needs of marketing-led enterprise organizations and translating trends into persuasive sales narratives
- Build competitive intelligence: Develop objection-handling battlecards and represent A.Team at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings
- Drive thought leadership through case studies, webinars, and content creation. Evangelize our Assemble platform and showcase how our AI infrastructure accelerates enterprise value
Our take
A.Team is an artificial intelligence company that launched as a member-only gig marketplace for “builders” - product engineers and other high-skill tech workers. It is now building "Assemble", an agentic AI platform to help enterprises get the most from their data.
The company’s launch came at an opportune time. The so-called “great resignation” opened up a world of opportunities for skilled tech workers, and saw the global gig economy generate more money than ever. It is now targeting a similarly growing and lucrative market, by enabling enterprises to harness AI to generate real business value.
